ACCRA Cheap Womens Mizuno Wave Prophecy 5 Black , Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially confirmed Avram Grant as the new coach of the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars.

The former Chelsea coach has been handed a two-year deal that will run from December 1 till February 2017, Kwesi Nyantakyi, GFA president, told a press conference in Accra on Thursday.

The Black Stars coaching job had been vacant after former trainer Kwasi Appiah parted ways with the GFA last September after leading the Black Stars to fourth place at the 2013 AFCON and a first round exit at the World Cup in Brazil.

Nyantakyi believes Avram Grant is the right man for the Black Stars.

The Israeli has been tasked to ensure Ghana does well at the 2015 Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea, which will be his first major assignment and win the same competition in 2017.

"As you are all no doubt aware Nike Huarache Triple Black Sale , Avram Grant is the new coach of the Black Stars. His appointment will take effect on the first of December, this year. There were a number of issues that needed further discussion with him. We have effectively resolved all the outstanding issues," he said.

Grant will be assisted by Maxwell Konadu, who has been the caretaker coach since the departure of Appiah.

The Ghana job is a second international assignment for Grant who coached Israel between 2002 and 2006.

Grant has also had spells with West Ham United and Portsmouth.

The 54-year-old's most recent job was at Partizan Belgrade where he guided the team to the Serbian title before resigning with a year remaining on his contract.

Netflix Inc severed ties on Friday with Kevin Spacey, one of its biggest stars and the lead in its popular drama "House of Cards," after a number of allegations of sexual misconduct against the Oscar-winning actor.

The streaming company suspended production earlier this week of the upcoming sixth and final season of the political intrigue drama, in which Spacey plays U.S. president Frank Underwood.

"Netflix will not be involved with any further production of 'House of Cards' that includes Kevin Spacey," the company said in a statement late on Friday.

Spacey's publicist cut ties with him on Thursday and it was not known who currently represents him.

His departure may not mean the end of the show Nike Huarache Ultra SE Sale , however.

"While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey’s behavior on the set of 'House of Cards,' he has been suspended, effective immediately," Media Rights Capital, the company that produces the show, said in a statement.

"MRC Nike Huarache Ultra Breathe Sale , in partnership with Netflix, will continue to evaluate a creative path forward for the program during the hiatus," it said.

The Netflix statement also said the company will work with MRC to determine the show's future.

Spacey, who has had a successful career in film, television and theater, is one of several big names in the entertainment business to be accused of sexual misconduct by people coming forward in the wake of allegations against movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

Spacey apologized last weekend to actor Anthony Rapp Nike Huarache Ultra Sandals Sale , who had accused him of trying to seduce him in 1986 when Rapp was 14. CNN reported on Thursday that eight current and former employees of "House of Cards," who were not identified, alleged sexual misconduct against Spacey.

Reuters was unable to independently confirm any of the accusations.

Spacey, as part of his apology to Rapp, announced he was gay, which angered many in the LGBT community and beyond who saw his announcement as an effort to divert attention from the accusation by Rapp.
