NANCHANG Wholesale Bruno Caboclo Jersey , Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese archaeologists on Tuesday discovered 75 gold coins and hoof-shaped ingots in an aristocrat's tomb that dates back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 24 AD).
The gold objects -- 25 gold hoofs and 50 very large gold coins -- are the largest single batch of gold items ever found in a Han Dynasty tomb. They were unearthed from the tomb of the first "Haihunhou" (Marquis of Haihun) in east China's Jiangxi Province.
The coins weigh about 250 grams each, while the hoofs' weights vary from 40 to 250 grams, said Yang Jun, who leads the excavation team.
They were packed in three boxes placed under a bed in the main chamber of the tomb. According to Yang, the gold objects appear to have been awarded to the marquis by the emperor.
Researchers are still working through the main chamber of the tomb in the Haihunhou cemetery, the most complete known Western Han Dynasty cemetery. It covers roughly 40,000 square meters and contains eight tombs and a burial site for horses used to pull chariots.
The tomb is thought to belong to Liu He, grandson of Emperor Wu. Liu was given the title "Haihunhou" after he was deposed as emperor after only 27 days. Haihun is the ancient name of a very small kingdom in the north of Jiangxi.
The site's excavation started in 2011. Artifacts unearthed so far include a portrait of Confucius, nearly 3,000 wooden tablets and bamboo slips and a large number of bronze, gold and jade items.

Will Smith, one of the first mainstream rappers who has since become an Oscar-nominated actor, is returning to music with a tour.
Smith has announced that his former duo, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, will reunite for a first-of-a-kind tour.
"We never actually had a chance to go out and do a full tour," Smith told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
The duo in 1987 put out its first album, Rock the House, and within three years Smith was the star of the popular sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, leading to a lucrative career in Hollywood.
"In that time, we just... were getting started and I never actually had a chance to go on tour, so I really want to get out there and do it for real," he said.
Smith, who did not announce dates for the tour, said that the duo would perform old hits but that he also had "a stash" of new songs.
DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince won a wide following in the US in the late 1980s as hip-hop was becoming mainstream.
Amid media scrutiny over rap's language and subject matter, the duo enjoyed ample radio play for clean-cut tunes such as "Parents Just Don't Understand," which won the first rap Grammy.
Smith, who initially took to television after nearly going bankrupt through spending his newfound wealth, has since starred in blockbuster films such as the Men in Black series, as well as dramas Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness, for which he earned Oscar nominations.
Smith has released four solo albums, the last in 2005, but said earlier this year that he had been working in a studio with rap giant Kanye West.
Smith last month also made a brief return to rap as he collaborated on a song with the Colombian band Bomba Estereo.
His former bandmate DJ Jazzy Jeff, whose real name is Jeff Townes, has toured in recent years as a solo artist.
In a recent interview, he hinted that the tour would take place next year, once Smith finishes promotion for his new film, the football drama Concussion, which comes out on Christmas Day.

ABUJA, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria has named Chelsea FC midfielder John Obi Mikel as new captain of the national football team, also known as the Super Eagles.
Mikel was unveiled as the new skipper at a press conference in the northwestern state of Kaduna on Thursday.
Former team captain Ahmed Musa voluntarily gave up the captain's armband to Mikel, saying he recognized him as ""a senior player of the team"".
""We must thank Musa so much for what he has done today and I promise that Nigerians will see a new brand team with my leadership,"" Mikel told reporters after the announcement.
Last year, Sunday Oliseh, the former head coach of the Super Eagles had named Musa to replace erstwhile skipper and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, overlooking Mikel and other senior players of the team.
Mikel's first assignment as skipper of the team will be on Friday, when the Super Eagles take on Pharaohs of Egypt in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Kaduna.
